What do you think was the Golden Age of PC gaming or Console even.PC gaming has come along way since I purchased my first PC with a Pentium 2 @ 266mhz , 8 mb Rage Pro AGPX2 , 20 gig HHD with 128 sdram ,complete with a amazing 17inch monitor & 56/128 dial up modem costing £2200 . But hardware, software, broadband & gaming coding has come along way since my first PC back in 1997 but put that aside & the leap in technology & graphics & think are games really better nowadays ? They may look better yes but playablity wise have they improved over the years or if your like me think the golden years is behind us rather than in front . To me the golden years were 1998-2005 when competitive PC gaming and moddling was at its height with great games like the DF series , CS. MOH ,COD, BF and the vast amount of custom maps that was produced and loyal devoted communities. But what was your golden era & why ,what is or was your all time classic game ? The BF fans aren't happy in the EA forumsReleased with an MOH/COD map that even the COD fans are laughing their socks off at it ,in fact chuck a few bomb points in there call it SnD with MW on the start up & every one would think its another badly ported COD console game .Ok click on Origin & enter the browser oops crash / bsod or just can`t get on a server if ur lucky,yep EA run with the sheep & copy steam/cod elite is an epic fail & shove titter & sadbook up its arse just for good measure just to achive a total ballz up ,not that its needs any help .More bugs than in a VW beetle factory this game is amazing nothing works !!! Yes but its only a beta ??? yea most most beta`s have the basics sorted a month b4 final release .Too many bugs/fixes to mention on it in just one post.Ok but its EA flag ship BF game , a game famous for its combined services & large maps ......so we get a COD rip off to attract the COD fans IW are laughing their ****s off atm & sending EA/DICE PR section thank you cards & gifts If we had Caspian Border to play becos its a large combined services map a lot of the above may of been forgiven by most BF fans but nope lets copy cod elite & MW shitty maps & we may attract more 12 yr old on the console .....No EA you screwed up big time.Ok you need a NASA rated super PC to run this game ......err no FB2 looks just awful it looks like someone has got hold off CS.S & gave a colouring kit to a four year old & said express your self ! Its cartoon colours in the park & just goes down hill into the tube station .I can`t atm find any positives with this Beta & with only five of us playing actively I`m the only one who still got a pre - order as the rest have said **** that & cancelled .So many complaints about so many problems , more than usual for EA which is a worry as we all know EA has a terrible history of not fixing issues until after release (if ur lucky) I hate to say this & it really hurts to say it but at least with IW MW I know what crap to expect ! I personally just want a decent CQB game but I know it will be full of noobs who just RPG infantry , non team playing campers & sky & armour jockeys getting cheap kills from afar !   Mod tools would be mine & to get rid of the high lighted tags & that EA bug that after years still exsists ,the one where you take cover behind a solid object & still die !

Like a lot of ppl one minute I get lock ups , screen stutter & crash to desk tops .Mine was due to my ram ie I was running 1600 ddr3 & when I reduced it to 1333 I havent had any problems, not saying it will work for you as BFBC2 has so many hardware & software quirks !

lol yea ! Its the only game I`m looking forward to this year & I hope it will be better than BFBC2 . After the awards @ the E3 & the releases of trailers / information & going by the pre order charts like in game it may not be a cod killer but deffo a cod beater on the PC as u av to look at page 6 to find the re-ashed MW2 part two the rip off ! lol May not be the prefect game & they will not be doing mod tools but at least we will have dedi`s & rcon so we can control our on servers unlike IW net

Wow £1500 will get you a NASA rated PC ..... But do you need a £1500 PC doubt it very much ! When people ask this qustion its quite hard to answer due to peoples prefences ie AMD & Itel fan boys along with AMD?Ati vs Nvida fany boys !   Me I would go with a Amd rather than an itel & 965 quad rather than a six core as anything faster than this is pointless with games atm cant beat kingston ram , 8 gig of ddr3 1600 will do nicely A 1000 watt decent PSU with at least two 12 volt pcie rails with decent amps Nvida 560 ti 1 gig grahics card ..gigabtye SOC (seriously overclocked) for bout £200 is a bargain av those babies in sli would be something or a Amd/ ati 6850 can be flashed to 6870 atm but 560 ti edges it for me Gigabyte or asus mobo sli/crossfire depends on above Now watch ppl flame it lol but honestly DON`T spend money on hype I`m still using a Ati 4870 which still pisses on the lastest games & up to a few months ago I was still using a duel core AMD 550 cpu which done the job with ease . Have a ganda round E-buyer and see what u fancy & lets us know what ur thoughts are !

I play two hrs a day every day between 1900 - 2100 hrs with me m8`s so that I spend time before 19.00 with the kids & after 21.00 with the wife between then there's a group of us oldies who can`t be arsed to go down the pub so we av a laugh gaming on our PC`s ,I call it down time to chill out & play , spray & flame :)

Anyone interested in this game should deffo keep with EA & keep ur cash don`t waste £25 like me !
